Hi, I'm Erin and I'm a Fashion Stylist. Designer Diane Von Furstenberg unveiled the wrap dress in the 1970s. It was popular then and there's a reason why it's still is today. The wrap dress looks amazing on so many different body types. Our model Heather is wearing a chocolate brown deviate wrap dress. It's about knee length with short sleeves. The dress on its own creates a subtle hour glass shape which is why women love it. I like the idea though of throwing out a waist belt to really exaggerate the hour glass shape. Heather is wearing a chunky brown leather waist belt from Anthropology and makes her waist look teeny tiny. If you don't have much of a waist, a belt is a great way to fake it. Because there's some gold in the belt, I paired the dress with mix gold and pearl accessories. The layered chains come as a single piece and I think are really great at highlighting the neckline. I also stack a couple of bracelets. And on her feet, Heather is wearing a classic brown pump with some gold studs. This look is perfect for so many occasions. You can easily take it from the office to a post work party. It's also a great dress to take on a trip since it's comfy and it doesn't wrinkle. The wrap dress is such a versatile piece. I can't stress enough how every woman should own one.
