Hi, I'm Seane Marie, and I'm a fashion stylist. Deciding what to wear to a black tie affair can always be difficult. For many women, the go-to can be a black dress and statement jewelry which is always a sartorial choice. However during the hot summer months this same go to ensemble can sometimes feel a little out of season. The best decision during the summer is to choose something with color. Today, we put Chelsea in a gorgeous lemon yellow floor length dress by Radenroro. The one shoulder with the side train detail adds a dramatic element to a summery colored fabric. When it comes to accessories an overdose of diamonds here can feel a little too dressed and remove the lighter summery feel. Plus summer is a perfect time to play with color. That's why I chose a fun pair of chandelier earrings by Liz James. The turquoise complements the dress while the hints of gold create a cohesion with a buttery lemon hue of the Radenroro dress. I then added gold bangles and a metallic lemon clutch like this one from Street Level. Finally, a pair of strappy gold or nude heels will complete your perfect formal ensemble for even the hottest months of summer.
