Hi, I'm Seane Marie, and I'm a fashion stylist. Sheath dresses are a great staple for a woman to have in her wardrobe, as their no-frills silhouette allow them to be really transitional pieces. The same sheath dress can go from the office to a sunny afternoon, or even to a night out with friends. The key to their versatility is the accessories you pair with them. Today, Crystal is wearing a beautiful sheath dress in a taupe color, with gold detailing on the chest panel. For our first option, I have shown this dress underneath a boyfriend cardigan. This gorgeous emerald green cardigan works best belted to still allow Crystal her feminine shape. Not to mention, a cardigan and dress combo is a great way to keep warm at a chilly office. So, I've added a sleek pair of peep toe sling backs that dress this look up slightly, and make it more work wear appropriate. However, this same cardigan and sheath combination would also work with a pair of knee high boots and over-the-knee socks for a more casual daytime look. Now, if we were to remove the cardigan and throw on a pair of cork or wood bottom wedges, we'd have a simple and stylish look for a summer afternoon. And, we could also pair this sheath with a pair of nude pumps, and a metallic gold clutch for a perfect evening ensemble. So, ladies, I recommend finding a sheath that is versatile, and playing with accessories to transition your dress through multiple occasions.
