She also became the entertainment/fashion reporter for WCBS-TV where she kept up on all the hottest trends. In 2007, she took on the role as host and producer for Hotnewz.tv, a revolutionary Internet news program focused on the young and hip college crowd. Erin created and wrote a weekly segment for Hotnewz called “Fashion Fix.” It gave viewers the inside scoop on, what else, fashion! Recently, Erin moved to the Texas Hill Country and started her image consulting business “Busbee Style”. Busbee Style is her newest baby, a passion for sure! Through Busbee Style, Erin does personal shopping, fashion styling and closet organization. Now, Erin is dressing and styling all types of Texans from cowboys to socialites.

Hi, I'm Erin and I'm a fashion stylist. There are now so many different types of Oxford shoes and so many different ways you can wear them. I'm going to show you one simple option. Our model, Heather is wearing a pair of black Oxford pumps.. basically an Oxford with a heel. Yep, these babies blend the masculinity of the original with the sex appeal of a pump. Gotta love that. I paired these shoes with an ankle length pair of tailored black pants, a really pretty tie neck black and white blouse and a vest to pull it all together. The streamline pant really shows off the shoes while the blouse adds femininity to the overall look. Because the shoe does have manly roots, it's important to add feminine touches. To accessorize the outfit, I added some silver earrings and a stunning silver cuff. If you wanted a slightly more casual and comfortable feel, you could always swap the Oxford pump for a flat version. Flat Oxfords would easily work with the look our model is wearing. Oxford shoes are really versatile. If you don't love this look, try the shoes with a dress, skinny jeans or a skirt and top a la Sienna Miller. Sporting these stylish shoes is a subtle way of saying, Hey, I'm not afraid to take fashion risks.
