Hi, I'm Seane Marie, and I'm a fashion stylist. Moccasin boots are a fun and interesting alternative to your standard leather boots. The Native American-inspired look of these boots can add a touch of style to a casual ensemble, making them a great option to pair with a weekend or daytime look. However, in order to avoid looking too costume-y I recommend pairing your moccasin boots with casual current pieces, and letting them make their own statement. Today, Amber is wearing a pair of fitted black denim as the base of our outfit. These are a great option to pair with moccasin boots, as they're slim around the ankle. So, no matter the height of your boot, they won't bunch, or add too much bulk to your leg. On top, I've added a cool white vintage blouse. The sleek drape of this piece allow it to remain understated, while the length and billowy silhouette of the top make it more casual in nature. Next, I've chosen a pair of short moccasin boots that come just up to the ankle. While moccasin boots can range in height from super tall to low like the ones you see here, any of those options would work well with this look. Finally, I have added a cool wide-brimmed hat, and some understated jewelry to complete this casual but stylish look.
