Hi I'm Rose Tran and I'm a fashion stylist. Long skirts also known as maxi skirts have been sweeping the runways for the past couple of years. And they only seem to be gaining in popularity. Most consider this conservative wear but it's actually making it's way into mainstream fashion. They come in all different fabrics and prints. But today I'm going to show you how to wear a long cotton skirt. I've dressed our model Elena in a high waist cotton skirt. The black makes her appear slim while the design gives her a sheik style. I paired it with a pink floral corset to add an extra feminine touch. And the crop jacket offers to balance out her skirt. Creating a neat visual balance from top to bottom is a must for every outfit. Finally add a fun hat to finish your bold and sheik look.
