Hi. I'm Seane Marie and I'm a fashion stylist. Knee high boots and jeans can be a great winter staple, as the boots with give you an extra layer of warmth from the harsh cold. When putting together a look with these two items, you want to first make sure that you select the right pair of each. For the jeans, you should get a pair that is skinny and tight fitting around the ankles, do that they don't scrunch and add extra bulk to your legs when you tuck them into your boots. And for the boots, make sure that you have a pair wide enough to give you a little room around your leg, even once you tuck in the jeans. You never want to have the jeans bulging out of the top of your boots. This look is extremely unflattering for every woman. Today, I've put Chrystal in a pair of super skinny black denim. On top, I've added a casual gray tee for a comfortable and casual base to our look. I've then paired a gorgeous and soft poncho to add a little volume to our slim fitting ensemble and a great layer of warmth. Next, these awesome mahogany leather boots add an unexpected pop of color to this dark pallet. So, while black would work here too, I like the interest that this pair of boots gives to our look. Finally, I've completed this outfit with a maroon bowl hat, reminiscent of a riding hat, to create a casual yet chic look.
