Hi there, I'm Stylist, Natalie Ogura and this segment is about wearing gray jeans. For a long time now, gray jeans have played second fiddle to your traditional blue or black denim. Now why is that? Gray jeans are neutral in color, overall slimming and come in as many different styles as their counterparts. Go into any store today and odds are you'll find them front and center. So instead of dismissing them, grab a pair and try them on with really whatever you would normally pair with blue or black denim. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with what you'll see. Gray jeans go with virtually everything and to top it off they add a fresh alternative to your jeans rotation. Check out Kara here. She's wearing gray skinny jeans with a black crochet camisole topped with a long patterned cardigan all from Free People. This is a super causal look and the gray eases into the tones of the sweater's palette. You'll honestly be hard pressed to find a color that doesn't go with gray, even tone-on-tone grays look good, which I can't always say for blacks. Matching black-on-black tones can sometimes be a nightmare. Light gray or overly bleached gray jeans can sometimes be trickier to pull off. I'd stick with evenly died mid to dark gray jeans. They're the most flattering for all body types. Overall, boot cut or straight leg is definitely most flattering on all body types too. But if you opt for a skinny variety, tuck them into black riding boots for a really put together look.
