Hi, I'm Seane Marie, and I'm a fashion stylist. Fringe details have gone in and out of fashion over the decades. From the 1920s beaded fringe to the 60s Bohemian trims made of suede and leather, fringe details are a fun way to add movement and interest to our outfit but too much fringe can be a bad thing. So when first trying this look out, I recommend starting small with a fringed accessory like a bag or a pair of booties. Today I put Beth in a pair of custom dog and pony cutoffs. These shorts are the perfect starting point for our casual daytime ensemble. I then added a cotton T by Alternative Apparel to keep this look comfortable and easy. Next, a cool 70s inspired felt hat matches the rugged look and adds some depth to this otherwise basic look. Now by creating such a laid back look this awesome suede French bag by Alternative Apparel is the perfect compliment and allows us to easily integrate the Bohemian feel of the French. Finally, complete this look with a Southwestern inspired vintage necklace and a pair of brown lace up booties for a fun and easy look.
