Hi, I'm Rose Tran, and I'm a fashion stylist. Chinese culture is much different than ours. When traveling there for business, we don't want to give off a bad impression. Dressing the wrong way can be seen as disrespectful, which can be hurtful on a professional level. You'll want to dress appropriately to get the job done in a well-respected manner. There are a few things to keep in mind from their perspective. Women should wear skirts or dresses instead of trousers, because it's seen as more intelligent. Today, I have Alaina in a Susana Monaco dress from Maya Star. Notice that the neckline is fully covered, and I've added a blazer for that professional vibe. Even on warmer days, a woman is expected to cover her neckline and wear stockings. To finish off your outfit, pair it with a pump, and you'll be ready to take on the job.
