Hi, I'm Seane Marie, and I'm a fashion stylist. Denim leggings, or jeggings, are essentially a combination of our favorite skinny denim and a pair of leggings. The ultra-stretchy fibers of the jegging allow them to feel more comfortable than a stark pair of skinny jeans, and still give you the look of wearing super fitted denim. Not only are jeggings extremely comfortable to wear, and perfect for airplane attire, but they're also excellent for tucking into a pair of boots, as they won't bunch up inside. Today, I put Beth in a sleek-fitting pair of black jeggings. Their slightly faded wash make them a great option for a casual ensemble. To keep it simple, I've added a baggy white button-front tank. As jeggings are extremely tight, and a little less forgiving than a thicker denim material, this longer top is a great option if you want to cover up your hips or thighs. I then layered a rust colored cardigan for an extra layer of warmth, and this patterned scarf to break up the solid colors in this look. Not to mention, if you do wear this on an airplane, large scarfs are a great double for a blanket when your flight gets a little chilly. Finally, I finished this look with a cool pair of brown oxfords that ties in the rust cardigan on top, and complete this casual look.
