Hi, I'm Erin, and I'm a fashion stylist. Black pants are seasonless. Buy the right fabric and you can definitely wear this dark color even on the hottest Summer day. Let's look at an example. Our model, Heather, has on a pair of linen black pants. These are loose fitting throughout the legs and bottom which will help keep her cooler. Linen is also a perfect fabric for those hot Summer months. It breathes well and is lightweight so you don't get overheated. The only problem with linen is that it forces you to bust out your iron, something I hate to do but the beauty of black it never looks quite as wrinkled as white or beige. You can also try a lightweight cotton or jersey pair of black pants in the Summer. I paired her black linen pants with a simple black tank top. Both of these pieces by the way are from Forever 21. I really like their tank tops and when you find them in your size, scoop them up. To break up her all black ensemble, I added a tribal statement necklace. It takes the overall look up a notch and adds some interest around her face. All it takes sometimes is one piece to really pull a whole look together. This necklace is one of those key pieces. I finished off the look with some casual black patent flip flops and off she goes to run errands on her hot Summer day. If she stops off to meet her friends for lunch or bumps into someone at the grocery store, she looks casual but pretty and pulled together.
