Hi, I'm Seane Marie and I'm a fashion stylist. Choosing the perfect outfit for a beach party can be tricky as you want to make a good impression but still be reasonably casual for the outdoor elements. The best option is to find something casual in feel and texture but dress it up with accessories that can be easily removed for a dip in the water. Today our model, Emma is wearing a cotton maxi dress. The jersey material is casual but the dramatic length is still sexy and appropriate for evening. I've added a statement cuff by Kendra Scott that dresses the look up. Avoid over accessorizing as too much will not be fitting for the casual setting. You can do this by trying on your biggest and boldest pieces until you find the perfect fit. Finish your look off with a metallic sandal. Flip flops are a great option whether flat or with a slight platform because they can easily slip off and on and when choosing your shoe, the easy rule of thumb for metallics is to match your shoe with your jewelry for a put together look.
