About the Expert
Hi, I'm skin care expert Tracy O'Connor, and today I'm going to share with you how to use a serum on the face. So I'm a huge fan of serums. I love them because they're designed to treat a variety of concerns, and they're also formulated to penetrate deeply into you skin cells to address acne, or aging, or redness, dehydration, whatever your skin concern is, there's a serum out there for you. Now our model Eden has gorgeous skin, but what's great about a serum is whatever your skin care concern, or if you just want to maintain a really healthy complexion, like Eden has, a serum is perfect to incorporate into your daily regimen. So we're going to use the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's. Because of the active ingredients, the bottle is opaque, and when looking for a serum, it's not a bad idea to look for a bottle that is opaque, because that way you preserve the ingredients. And just press into Eden's skin. We're going to apply on four parts of the face, the forehead, the cheeks, the nose and the chin. And this serum has lavender oil, which is very restorative. It helps to calm inflammation, reduce redness, has aromatherapeutic benefits. So it's the perfect serum to apply during the nighttime when you want to get a good night's rest. It also has evening primrose, which is regenerative and restorative, helps to promote healthy cellular function. So it moves those healthy younger cells forward to the surface of the skin. So we've finished applying the concentrate to Eden's skin, and her skin is so gorgeous, it's glowing, it has just this natural vibrancy, and that's because of the ingredients and how readily they're absorbed. It also has squalene, which is a healing botanical lipid. So when you wake up in the morning after applying a serum like this, your skin will be like Eden's, it will have that softness and smoothness, and it will have a glow. And there you go. That's how to use a serum on the face. I'm Tracy O'Connor, thanks for watching.
