Hi, my name is Chantelle Tarride, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today I'll be showing you how to do makeup for beauty on tan skin. Now as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But particularly I always find natural beauty is the best way to go. So we are going to go with a very sheer coverage but in the end you'll still look glamorous. I like to start off with my foundation, which should already be on your face, you're already neutral, nothing highlighted, just your own tan skin. Today we're going to go with a nice pink rosy color to go straight on to your cheeks. First thing you want to do is go with your blush brush and your actual blush. Go ahead and swirl it in. Dab off any excess, and you just kind of want to swirl it in a little circle. I'm using a very light hand because I don't want it to be very harsh and I chose pink because this is a very natural color for anybody to kind of blush. Whether it be under the sun or somebody embarrassed you, it's just a very cute sweet color to go on tan skin. And that's step one. Your next step will be go the very neutral eye shadow. I chose the nice golden bronze that's very kind of close to my skin tone, but it's going to highlight my eyes because it has a little bit of gold shimmer in there. Take your eye shadow, press that color in, dab off any excess, and just go ahead and sweep one nice color over your entire eyelid. I'm going even to the tear duct because that's highlighting the area that's going to be hit by light and reflect and I'm doing this from the actual lash line to the brow bone. We're just going with one simple color because it's easy, simple, and yet beautiful when done. And it's almost one, two, three step. You don't have to do that much. And that's step two. Your last step is you want to go with a nice neutral eye liner. I chose a nice dark brown, because we don't want to go with black. Black is a little bit harsh. Brown is more natural to your tan skin. So go directly on to your eye with a nice angled brush after you've dabbed it into that cream liner, which is the easiest. And you just want to do a very nice, simple line. You can do a nice cat eye, which will already make your eyes look very feminine, but not too harsh and not too much. And because it's brown, again, it's very natural looking, can easily go from day to night with this look and now you just made some nice feminine eyes without too much effort. And that's step three. I hope you enjoyed this video on how to do makeup for beauty on tan skin. Thanks for watching, this has been Chantelle Tarride.
