Hi, my name is Alysse Lemke, and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to use eye shadow as a lipstick. What you're going to need today is, a basic ChapStick, your eye shadow of choice, and just a few mixing tools. I've got a little spatula and a mixing board here. But you can use anything, and something to apply it with, a lip color brush. What we're going to do first is take a little bit of your chap stick, scrape it off. You can use your lip color brush, you can use your finger, you can use a Q-tip. Anything really will work. So, I've got a little bit of ChapStick applied. Now, I'm ready to choose my eye shadow color. The beauty of using eye shadow for lipstick is you can use any color that you own and eye shadow as a lipstick color can be fun for photo shoots. I'm going to choose a neutral color, something that we would see in a normal lipstick. I'm going to choose this pink. And you just want to scrape off a tiny little bit. That's about all we really need. And bring it back to your other palette with your ChapStick on it. Then you just want to mix. Just dip your makeup brush in it and you can apply it a s regular lipstick. When mixing a lipstick with your eye shadow, I like to use ChapStick. It lasts longer and provides a matte look. You can always stick a gloss on over the top to finish off your look. Thanks for watching. My name's Alysse Lemke.
