Hi my name is Megan Grady. I'm a hairstylist and today I'm going to teach you how to get an undone look for long hair. The tools we're going to use are a flatiron, temperature setting 350 or blow and a light hold hairspray. We're going to separate the top section of your hair and using one to one and a half inch thick sections in your hair, you're going to take your flatiron and you want to hold it downward, that's the trick because you're using your wrist to move it instead of twisting the actual curling iron or straightener. Go one stroke down the strand of hair to heat it up and then holding it downward, you're going to twist once and then kind of slowly drag it down. So when you're curling the sections on each side, you want to curl them away from your face. So the curls are going back away from your face for the whole side on your left and then the whole side on your right, both curling outward. Ways to make this easier would be to use clips to help section off the hair. Once you're finished curling both sides of your head in the outward direction you can use the straightener to give your bangs a little bit of a flip by slightly putting a bend in it and pulling it back. to finish off this look we're going to use a light hold hairspray that's just going to help add some texture to this undone look. When you're spraying use your hands to push up on your hair to help add volume. So that's how you get an undone look for long hair. Thanks for watching.
