Hi, I'm Christine. I'm a makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you my favorite brushes for makeup application. Brushes make a huge difference in the way the makeup looks on your face. Brushes are definitely an investment, but they make your makeup look so good and professional. I'm going to start with the biggest, and then move down to the smallest. So, the first one is a powder brush. This is a large brush, and it's all natural hair. I prefer natural hair over synthetic because it really puts the powders and the creams on the face a little bit better. So, this is the powder brush. You would use this all over the face for your loose powder, your pressed powder, your bronzer. Definitely, you know, on the cheek area, on the forehead, nose, everywhere, love this brush. It's very soft. Next, we're going to go into a contour blush brush. This is used to apply your blush. It's got an angle to it, and you would use this on the cheekbones like so, just up like that. It really gives you a great contour look. You can also use it with bronzer. Next up, we have the foundation brush. This gives you an air-brushed smooth foundation application. It's also more sanitary than using your fingers, and it saves a lot of your product if you use a sponge, the sponge will soak up unnecessary product. So, that's a really great one. Next, we're going to go into some eye shadow ones. So, first of all, we have a semi flat shadow brush that's going to be used to put the eye shadow on your lid. So, I use it to, like, tap on the shadow like so, really great for that. You can also use it to blend. This is also natural hair. Then we're going to go into our blending brush. It's a fluffy brush, and this is used for your crease. It's a super important brush. You dip it into your dark shadow and then you go back and forth in half moon motions to get that crease covered really nicely. This is a brush I use all the time. It's kind of like a pencil. The bristles are really close together, and you can use this to blend out, like, a smoky eye or eyeliner. So, you would just go in there and smooth out eyeliner on the top and the bottom, or you can also use it to concentrate darker in these corners here. I love this brush too. Lastly is an angled brush, and this you use for your liquid eyeliner or your gel eyeliner. It creates that perfect cat eye. So, you just use it to go in a sweeping motion upwards. It really gets a thin line. You can also use this for your brows. So, those are my favorite brushes. I could not live without these brushes. They will make any application for makeup flawless and beautiful. So, invest in brushes and they will repay you. Thank you for watching. I'm Christine, bye.
