Hi, I'm Brandy Joy Smith, and I'm a wardrobe stylist. Today, we're going to talk about what type of cocktail dress is best for wide hips. It's important to choose a dress that doesn't hug the body too tight. And empire waist, baby doll dress, or tent dress, is the best shape dress for this body type. Laura is wearing a tent shape dress by Wish. Notice how the tent shape dress doesn't hug any part of the body too tight. We've also added some great accessories, like this layered necklace by Liz James, and a beautiful pair of shoes to help draw the eye away from the hips.
