Hi, my name is Cati James. I am a makeup artist, and today I'm going to show you how to get a crazy eye makeup look. What we're going to be using today is an eye shadow primer, a palette of your choice of eye shadow colors, a gel eyeliner and a hard angle brush, and some mascara. Oh, you need a eye shadow brush too, a nice fluffy one. So, we're starting out with our primer. I'm just going to use a tiny amount, and do that all over the eyelid on both sides. This'll just keep everything in place, it absorbs oil on the eyelid, keeps everything from creasing. And then, you take your palette of eye shadow colors. I'm going to do blue and green today, something kind of funky and crazy. I'm going to take the blue shade, this is like sea foam, and use that as my base color. So, I'm doing that all over the lid. And, with bright colors like this, you've just got to be fearless. And, I like a little bit of a shimmer, because that'll help it blend. Just go back and forth with the brush. And, it's a fun, funky color. This would definitely be for, like, a night out, or a party that you know you can do a little crazy for. Maybe not every day, but we've got to play with our variety. So, there we have this. I like to do complimentary colors. This has a little bit of green in it already, so I'm going to do some green in the crease. Just using the tip of the brush, going right in the deepest part of the eyelid, and adding that green. And, because it's a crazy eye look, you can kind of fan it out a little bit, bring it out off of the eyelid, even bring it down underneath the eye. Kind of gives you a funky look. It's like a mermaid, almost. So, then we're doing the same thing on the other side. Don't go too far in with the crease color, just about halfway, again, doing that back and forth motion - it helps everything blend. So, then we have the shadow done. We're going to do some liner. You dip your brush into the gel liner, and you make a crazy cat eye. It's very fun. Just pull that out, and do a nice fanned out look. Do it again on the other side, almost like those Cleopatra cat eyes. Very, very fun look. There we go, pulling it out, just make sure it's even on each side. If not, you can kind of smudge it with your fingers. Not the end of the world. Okay, so, that's done. You take your mascara, do a quick coat. You want to do a little bit more on the outer corners, makes your eyes look wider. Quick coat of mascara, a little bit on the bottom. Beautiful. And, there you have your crazy eye makeup look. Our most important tool for this was our eye makeup palette.
