Hi, this is Kristie Kennedy, professional makeup artist. Today, we'll be discussing how to do tropical makeup on dark skin. Tropical makeup consists of light bright and playful, so let's get ready to have some fun. The tools you'll need: a nice turquoise color accented with a gold eye shadow, a gold lip, lip liner and our eye shadow brushes. Let's begin. Our first step is to apply a nice blazing gold eye shadow to the lid of the eye. From the inside corner, working our way outward is perfect for that sun-kissed look when you're out in the tropics, short strokes, left to right, right to the crease and do the same for the other eye. This is highly pigmented color which is very characteristic of our tropical looks. Bold and beautiful. And that is our first step. Our second step is to apply a beautiful turquoise on the outside of our lid, take it from the outside, going halfway in to the crease line and blend out. And do the same for the other eye, halfway in in a semicircle, blend in. And that is your second step. Our third step is to line the lip to create a nice lip finish. Left to right, middle outward, middle outward and then to finish, the gold color on the inside. And that is our last step and that is how you do tropical makeup for dark skin.
