Hello, I'm Kristy Charlier, professional esthetician and today I'm going to talk to you about how to get clear skin fast. Congested skin is a mixture of oil and dead skin cells that block the pores. This can lead to pea acnes and an overgrowth of bacteria. How do you get clear skin? The first step is to use a facial cleanser that's going to cleanse out those blocked pores. So to get started we're going to cleanse Elaina's skin with the L'Oreal Paris Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser. So we're going to start by dampening Elaina's skin with a washcloth and just take a pea size amount of product and mix that into your fingertips, add some lukewarm water. We don't want anything that's too hot. This is a great foaming cleanser. It has a 2 percent salicylic acid and a citric acid. These are beta hydroxy acids. They are more nourishing on the skin, not as harsh. It also has peppermint and menthol. These ingredients are going to cool the skin. They're also anti-inflammatory. That's going to reduce any kind of redness in the skin and also the peppermint will help to reduce oil production. So the salicylic acid helps to dissolve the intracellular glue that holds all the dead skin cells together, it allows for deep cleansing of the pores. It's not stripping like other acids such as glycolic so it will keep your skin nice and soft and supple. Another thing you can do to add to your regimen is using a Retinol. This will regulate your oil production. You can put this under your moisturizer at nighttime, about twice a week. As you can see Elaina's skin is nice and smooth. We've eliminated some of the congestion here. One final tip is you can do a clay mask once a week to draw out any kind of impurities in the skin. So that's how you get clear skin fast. I'm Kristy Charlier. Thank you for watching.
