Hi, I'm Krista. I'm a beauty stylist in Tampa, Florida. Today, I'm going to show you how to do a textured chignon on wavy hair. For this, the tools that I'm going to use are long bobby pins, short bobby pins, and hairspray. So, to start off, I'm going to take the waves that I have in my hair, and I'm going to finger tease them. And, how you do this is, take the curl, hold it tight at the end - taut, and then just kind of push that up, just to kind of help create some texture. Alright, so, what I'm going to do, I'm going to take my hair back, kind of twist it around, and hold it in a bun, and where my fingers are at - so, where your fingers are at at home, you're going to want to put a pin directly where your fingers are. And, what you're going to do with the pin is "X" the pin. So, put it in one side, and then take the other side, and "X" it in. I went through, and I put all of the pins kind of around, doing my "X" kind around the chignon. And now, I'm going to just take my fingers by the base, and just kind of loosen it up a little. So, ultimately, I'm taking my fingers, putting them right up in the hair, right by the base, and going in a circular motion. This is going to loosen that up. Take it and kind of pull it. And, don't be scared of pulling, because you can always, if a pin falls out, you can always pin it, stick it back in. And, that's how you do a textured chignon for wavy hair. The main product that I used was my long bobby pin. I hope you can recreate it at home. Thanks for watching. I'm Krista.
