Hi. I'm Cati James. I'm a hairstylist. And today, I'm going to show you how to style short hair using gel. So, the tools we're using today, a comb, a light weight hair gel, and a little bit of hairspray, So, to start off, you're going to take your hair gel. Just do about a dime size in the middle of your palm. And then just rub that through your hands. So, what I'm going to do with this style is try and get height in the front and then up out of my face. So, we're using our fingers, you just want to go as high as possible, at first. And then you can kind of swoop it over. It's a fun look. It gives you a little bit of volume, it's kind of funky, and if you are tired of your bangs being in your face, which I guess sometimes is a nice little alternative. And then you can kind of spike up the back a little bit too, if you want with the gel. And then we take our comb, if you have any fly aways, you just kind of clean it up, give it a little bit more shape. You can kind of use the comb to get a little more height in the back too. And then for our final step, you take a little bit of hairspray, just a couple of spritzes in the front, and that'll just hold that so your look will stay all day. Our most essential too for this was our hair gel.
