Hi. I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner. And today I'm going to show you how to do a two strand hairstyle. OK. So, what you need to achieve this look at home, some bobby pins, rubber bands, a back coming comb, and a sleek hairspray. So, we're going to use the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine anti-humidity hairspray. Going to prep the hair with a little bit of spray, just lightly. For this look it definitely helps to have some texture to your hair. If you have straight hair you can just throw in some lose curls with a curling iron, and that'll help the, help the twist to stay together and to anchor. And I'm just going to spray a little bit more in to the hair, just to help prevent fly aways. And sectioning out one side, mostly going to do everything with my fingers. Because this is a looser look. It doesn't have to be so combed flat to the head or brushed tightly. It's nice to work with the texture that she has. OK. So, you can see the section there, just to the front and slightly behind the ear and I'm going to divide this in two, about two equal sections, and then I'm going to start the twist. You're just wrapping the hair over itself creating what almost looks like a braid. When you're making a twist, it is important to prep the hair with a spray, something that will help get rid of the fly aways and it gives you a little bit of control, helps hold the twist together. Once you get to the bottom, you can start to kind of loosen it up. I'm going to go ahead and put a rubber band on. And then with the back combing comb, I'm going to go right in there and just loosen the whole thing up a lot more, back combing right against the direction. And then I'm going to go ahead and do the same thing on the other side. OK. So, now we have both sides twisted. And we have a couple looser twist ponytails coming down the back. and then I'm just going to take these two together, lightly, and then we'll twist those together as well. This is a nice soft feminine look. It's very casual. It's not overly styled. It's great for getting your hair back out of your face, if you're going to be say at a day at the beach or if you're just out and about and you wanted a way to dress your hair up but without being overly over done. And Then I'm going to go back in and just disguise the ponytail holders with another piece of hair from underneath. Just kind of wrap it around. Once you have the hair wrapped, here's how you can back comb a little bit just to keep it together so that you don't need another rubber band, just back combing the very bottom of that. and it can be a little bit looser and messier. And that's just a little trick that I learned that you can do to help keep the pieces of hair together. And that's how style hair with a twist. I'm Jeremy Clark. Thanks for watching.
