Hi, I'm Carmen, beauty stylist expert. I'm going to show you how to straighten your hair without burning. For this demonstration you'll need a flatiron. The best thing to do is to try to find an iron that has a temperature gauge. That's going to be the first thing that you're going to want to do because if you have a flatiron that doesn't have a temperature gauge that's a way that you can burn the hair. So, by controlling the temperature, that's going to help. Also, the technology today is to have ceramic and ionic flatirons which this has which are also protectant and help to not burn the hair. So, you want to try to stay away from the old flatirons that were more just aluminum or steel, whatever there are. You want to get the ceramic ionic new technology for flatirons, they're out there with a temperature gauge, and it will tell you a good temperature to keep your hair on when flatironing it to not burn it is at about 180 to 200. You're also not going to want to hold the flatiron on your hair. You want to keep that flatiron moving because you can tend to burn the hair by keeping the flatiron too long on one spot. So, just move through the lengths of your hair slowly and let it go. This is how you're going to straighten your hair without burning. Your must have is going to be a flatiron with a temperature gauge on it. Thank you so much for watching. I'm Carmen.
