Hi, my name is Tanya Marie, and I'm a hairstylist. Today, I'm going to show you step-by-step hair ponytail styles. The tools you'll need are a paddle brush, a smaller brush, a hair tie, and hairspray. The first look I'm going to show you today is a lower ponytail hairstyle. First, you want to grab your paddle brush, and smooth your hair off to the side, and finger comb your hair a bit, with a little bit of a twist. Then, swoop your hair through the ponytail holder, and then just loosen it up some. And then, with the hairspray, just spray down the back, and the side. And, that's one look. The second look, we're going to take it a little bit higher. Next, you want to smooth out all your hair. And then, brush from the bottom up. That way, it'll be a bit smoother, and not as many bumps. Then, you grab your ponytail holder. Then, you grab your smaller brush, and smooth out those bumps. And, that's how you do a ponytail step-by-step. The most important tool is your hair tie.
