Hi, my name is Madelon, and I'm a hairstylist. Today, I'm going to be showing you how to achieve a straight, sleek look with medium-length hair. The tools you'll be needing today are a flatiron, also a light hold hairspray. You can also use something that's more oil-based if you'd like more of a shine. If you struggle with oil, I would just recommend a light, flexible hold spray. So first thing you want to do is take your front section. I like to make an arch shape, start at the base and pull through. The smaller sections the better but you don't have to be too organized with it. It's good to make an arch when you're pulling through so you have a bit of a bend in the hair to make it look more natural and then for a finishing touch you can slightly pat it down and pull your fingers through if you need to tame away any flyaways.
