Hi my name is Megan Grady. I'm a hairstylist and today I'm going to teach you how to get a sleek straight look for long hair. The products we're going to use today are a mythic oil that helps smooth and shine, a straightener, and a light hold finishing spray. So the first step we're going to do is take the mythic oil, two pumps into your palm and rub it around also on the backs of your hand, that helps for a more even coverage and then run it through your hair. This protects the hair from heat and helps add shine. Now we're going to start from the bottom section of your hair and smooth with the straightener. The smaller the sections, the smoother your look will be. You should be able to achieve this with one stroke down the strand of hair. Continue in the same motion on the other side, taking one inch sections and gliding down slowly once. The temperature on your straightener shouldn't be above 350 degrees and once you're finished straightening your hair, we're going to take one more pump of the mythic oil, run it through your hands again and from mid shaft to end we're going to pull it through your hair. This time we're using it for shine. You don't want to put too much of this product at your root because then you can get an oily look and that's not what we want. To finish off this look, we're going to use a light hold movable hairspray to hold in your smooth look and that's how you get a sleek straight look for long hair. Thanks for watching.
