Hi my name is Megan Grady and today I'm going to teach you how to do a side part in long hair. The tools we're going to use are a comb, a round brush, medium sized, and a blow dryer. So I've wet my bangs with a spray bottle which is a good trick to do if you wake up and you don't have time to shampoo your hair. So the first step we're going to part our hair on the side that we want our side part. So basically you're going to start at your higher recession point and do a diagonal part to the middle of your scalp. So what we're going to do now is take the heavy side of your bang, pull it in the opposite direction than what you want your bangs, and use your round brush, blow drying the hair in the opposite direction while using the round brush backwards away from your face. Okay so now that I have blown my bangs dry I'm going to show you a tip. When you're blow drying the hair with the round brush, once your hair is wrapped completely around it, remove the blow dryer and leave the hair sitting in the round brush to cool for a second. This helps get a little bit of a flip. So now that we've finished blow drying we're going to finish the look with a stronghold hairspray. So those were the steps to do a side part in long hair. Thanks for watching.
