Hi, my name is Chantelle Tarride, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today, I'm going to be showing you how to do runway makeup for tan skin. Particularly runway makeup will change from season, to year, to designer. So, there's really no one way to do your runway makeup. Particularly in this shot I'm going to show you how to do my favorite collection Dior spring collection which is all about bright bold colors. Bright bold colors always looks beautiful on tan skin. And today, I'm going to show you to do it with a lime green eye shadow. This particular look I saw in Mr. Dior's fashion runway for the spring collection. And might I add with the collection was gorgeous. But even more beautiful I found was the makeup style. It was so simple to achieve I really found this that I was kind of surprised. I'm like you know this is considered runway? But it looked amazing on every model. And I loved how easy it was. So with your blending brush you are going to go with that lime green color. And really this is going to be a dramatic look. When you think of runway you got to think drama. So this may not be what you want to wear to your nine to five job. But definitely something to wear out to the beach, going out for lunch somewhere if you are really that bold. This color we are bringing up past the crease even a little bit up into that brow bone. We are really going for a very circular look with this bright green. And now follow that same idea on the bottom of your eye. Following all around and still while you are doing this you are still blending out well. You wouldn't want it to be too harsh. It's a very smooth look. It goes all around but it doesn't look like an actual circle. It's blended outward into the skin kind of like a nice splat of color on your eyes. It's very beautiful color. I love this for the spring. And the next step is you are going to want to go with a yellow based eyeliner. This particular one is a nice vanilla color. And we are going to clean. Make sure it's nice and clean you don't have any black on there. You really want to get it a very bright look on the bottom of the inside of your eye. And line the inside. This will really open up your eyes. And that's step two. And now to really make this look pop you want to go with plenty of layers of black mascara and brush each lash. Do the same thing for the other eye. I would probably apply about three coats. And if you really wanted to play this up I would go with lashes because that's what's really going to make this look stand out and make it very runway. And after you've applied about three coats make sure you do the same thing to the bottom very lightly. Just a little bit on the bottom. To make sure when you are doing this it's really kind of like opening up your eyes like a flower. It's really stretching out those eye lashes. And last you are going to want to go with a very bold pink color. This particular one I like because it's a great contrast to a lime green. This is like a nice fuchsia. You want to line and fill your lips in with this color all the way in because this will keep the lip gloss in place. And after you've filled in your lips finish it off with a nice pink lip gloss. Something bright maybe not too sparkly is fine. You can just squeeze a little bit on. And voila. I hope you enjoyed these tips on how to achieve a runway makeup for tan skin. Thanks for watching. My name is Chantelle Tarride.
