Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, Professional Hairstylist and Salon Owner. And today, I'm going to show you how to prevent and get rid of fly away hair. So, you can see with Jamie's hair, she has a little bit of texture and it really has a tendency to get these fly aways; it's very common with hair like this and it's really simple to prevent, you just need a little hairspray. So, the spray I'm going to use is the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray. So, the best way to take care of these fly aways, using the hairspray, I like to spray it in my hand. You never want to spray non-aerosol hairspray right directly on the hair because it first comes out wet. So, the trick is to spray it on your hand, break it down and when you feel it start to evaporate, that's what you want to put in the hair and just kind of distribute it through. You don't need too much on the roots because you don't want to weigh it down. And you can see already those fly aways are starting to, starting to tame. And then, I'll take a brush and just lightly run through it. So, as you're distributing the product through the hair, you're also helping to distribute the natural oil all the way down through to the ends. The ends are where it gets dehydrated and really tends to frizz and so, that helps bring that oil right down and hydrate the whole strand of the hair. And then, you can go in with your brush, just lightly brush through it, continue distributing all that good stuff down to the ends and you can already really see the difference between one side and the other. So, it's also good to use a vented brush. This helps distribute the oils through the hair and it also helps prevents static electricity and tangles. So, once you finished brushing that through the hair, you can really see the difference and just catch any other little fly aways with your hand. And the great thing about using a hairspray like this is that it makes sure the style lasts through the entire day. There you go, that's how to get rid of and prevent fly away hair. I'm Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
