Hello, I'm Kristy Charlier, a professional esthetician and today, I'm going to show you how to regenerate your skin. As we age, our skin cells turn over at a slower rate, this leads to more of a dull, dehydrated complexion. We want to make sure that we exfoliate and put back to the skin, to renew that radiance that we want to have. You first want to start with exfoliation, that will allow for a better product penetration. This way, when we use a skin care serum, the nutrients will be getting down, deep into the skin cells. Skin care serums are designed to penetrate to the deeper layers of the skin. You want to pick one that is suitable for your skin type and condition. As the important mix of ingredients that are going to do corrective work with the skin. A serum is great in your anti-aging regiment. A lot of them have pertinent anti-oxidants. So, this is going to help neutralize for your radical damage caused by environmental stresses. So, today, we're going to use on Eileen, the L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Serum Intense. So, on clean skin, just put one pump of product into the finger tips, into the palms of the hands. We want to make sure that we get to the whole entire face, just pat on each area. And then, you can go back and smooth it across. So, this product has glycerin in it, it's a powerful humectant, it draws moisture from the outside air, to the skin. So that prevents moisture loss. It also has citric acid, which is a beta-hydroxy acid, this dissolves the dead surface skin cells, renewing that complexion. So, this serum would go on clean skin, underneath your moisturizer. Because this product has beta-hydroxy acid, this will allow better product penetration to the deeper layers of the skin. This serum also contains peptides, which are great for stimulating collagen elastin. It also helps reduce the breakdown of existing collagen. Serums are great for every skin type and condition. There are other serums out there that treat acne, pigmentation, other than anti-aging. Because skin serums are parting their ingredients, they reach the deeper layers of the skin, restoring that youthful vitality. And that is how to regenerate your skin. I'm Kristy Charlier, thank you for watching.
