Hi, my name's Hilda Levierge, and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to get the perfect nude lip. Nude lips are great, because they're a perfect complement if you want to play up a different feature. For instance, on Brandy I've made her eyes really colorful with, you know, a really bright green eye shadow. So, I want to complement them - I don't want to take away from them. So, I'm going to give her a really nice nude lip. So, to demonstrate, I'm going to be using Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint. Now first, what you want to do is exfoliate your lips by using either a toothbrush and rubbing gently, or a warm washcloth and just rubbing off any extra dead skin cells so you have a nice smooth surface to work with. Then, you're going to put on a great moisturizing lip balm - like the Baby Lips - and just put that all over the lips. So, starting at the top, working down and around, covering your entire lip. Now, we're going to have to take out the pinkish tone to Brandy's lips, so I'm going to do that by using a concealer. And, I'm just going to dab the concealer on with my ring finger. I don't want to put too much on, but I just want to wash out the pink tone of her lips. You can also use a nude lip liner to give your lips a little bit more definition after you have put on concealer. And then, because the concealer is a little bit drying, I'm going to go back in an reapply the Baby Lips, and that's just going to give the lips a nice sheen. So, there you have it.
