Hi, I'm Julie Isobe, professional hairstylist. Today, I'm going to share with you how to get the perfect beachy waves for medium length hair. There are many ways to create a beachy wave. Today, we'll need a comb, clips, a flat iron and a texturizing spay. Today, I'm going to be using Nature's Rescue Seaspray by Redken. Let's get started. I'm going to first separate the top from the bottom. So, a rough section, just clip it up quickly out of the way. Taking vertical sections, mixed the product in. I'm running my finger through to just get that product going. Vertical with the iron, I'm going to twist the hair around and at the same time I'm turning my iron. So, now the hair is good and tight and I'm just simply going to pull the hair through the iron. This is a technique called ribboning. You want to encourage the curl, vertical iron, twist the hair around, twist the iron. What we can see right now is just the product evaporating off of the hair. For tighter curls on the end you can even turn the iron one more time. As you let it go, encourage it. Finishing with the very front piece. When you have shorter pieces of hair you can simply bend your iron around to create that nice ringlet curl. You might take our product and spray a good amount on my hand and emulsify it. I'm going to ask you to put your head just slightly back. Now, I'm going to run my fingers through to separate those ribbons, and add texture. If Shalea was doing it at home, she would move her head to the side, and then pull her fingers through. And that's how to get the perfect beach waves for medium length hair. I'm Julie Isobe, thank you for watching.
