Hi, my name's Joanna, and I'm a hairstylist, and today I'm going to show you the best way to part your hair that flatters your face the most. So, I'm going to take my comb and I'm going to comb my hair back to determine where my natural part is. A lot of women feel that they just have to style their hair wherever their hair falls, which is not true 'cause you can make your hair do whatever you want it to do. So, you're going to brush your hair back, and kind of separate it, shake your head and see where your natural part is. Mine, unfortunately is right down the middle and I don't find that it's very flattering. And if you can tell, I also have a cowlick on this side. So, how do I part my hair, well, I've learned that if you part your hair with your cowlick and work with it instead of against it, it's just so much easier to work with. So, I noticed that my hairs going to fall better to the left. So, what I'm going to do is go straight from my pupil, with my comb and go straight up and find where that meets, and take a diagonal back part all the way back and separate it. I think a diagonal back part is a little more flattering than just a straight back part. And then, you see that it's working with my cowlick instead of against it. Brush it down and there you have it. That's how you determine how to find your part, thanks for watchin'!
