Hi, I'm Jessica Adams, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today, I'm going to show you how to moisturize dry spots on your face. We all get those pesky little spots, whether they're right around your mouth, in certain spots around the eyes, or all over your face. The important thing to remember is that you need a different moisturizer than the one that you use all over your face. So, I've got a moisturizer here. I'm just going to squeeze a little bit on. I'm going to come up to the spot, and I'm going to dab it in. You don't want to just rub it in in a big circular motion, and you don't want to get it all over your face, because you're concentrating just on that spot. So, just keep dabbing until it disappears. And, this is a heavier cream than the cream that you use on the rest of your face. Now that you've moisturized it, if you're going to put concealer on it to try to hide it from looking different from the rest of your foundation, you need to make sure that your concealer is a liquid concealer, and not a stick or cream-based. If it's a stick, it's going to dry it out even more, and look like scales on your face. And, you really don't want that. So, just be sure you use a liquid concealer. But, how to avoid the dry spots are to make sure you're exfoliating your face, and you can exfoliate one to two times a week. But, what I recommend is if you have bad spots, just spot treatment. Do the same thing with an exfoliant. Put it on, leave it on for five minutes, wash it off. And, put the cream right back here. Put the heavy cream on first, and then moisturize the rest of your face. And, that's how to moisturize dry spots on your face. This is Jessica Adams, and thank you for watching.
