Hi, my name is Marcella and I'm a makeup artist. And I'm here to show you how to match your eyeshadow with clothes. Matching your eyeshadow with your clothes is a great way to switch things up. And your clothes reflect your mood, so can your makeup. Let me show you the few tools that you'll need. First, we're going to use a lighter color, I'm using a bone to go all over the eye. This is going to be our base and our blender. Next, the color that you want to match with your clothes. It doesn't have to be the exact color, but within the family, it can be a few shades lighter. And lastly, we're going to use a contour color. I'm choosing this beautiful gray, but you can also use brown. I'm going to begin by applying my lightest color, which is an iridescent bone. And I will put it all over my eye, from my eyelashes to my brow bone. It's best to use a fluffier brush like this, with longer, looser bristles to move around. This will ensure the color goes on lightly. Next, I'm going to take my neutral contour color, this beautiful gray. And I'm going to focus on the corner of my eye. I want to bring out the V-shape and bring it less than half way, where the eye sinks in under the bone. When I have this color blended well, I'm going to take my matching color with my finger. I'm going to lightly ab the color and apply it in the center of my eye,and out towards the V, I created. By doing this, I'm creating just an accent of color to match my clothing. Without overwhelming the eye and the overall look with too much color, subtly is key. Lastly, with a small smudge brush, dip it into the same color that you used for the contour. And brush it on the lower lashes to create a light eyeliner. Add some mascara to your lashes, and your look is complete. And that is how you match your eyeshadow with clothes. Thanks for watching.
