Hi my name is Marcella and I'm a makeup artist with Unbridled Beauty. I'm here today to show you what makeup to wear with a sequined dress. Sequins are in and whether you wear it as a dress or with jeans it's going to be eye catching and bold. So you want your makeup to be a compliment without overpowering. I'm going to show you a few tricks but first you need to know what to use. We're going to use a bronzer for contouring and to create a little bit of a tan which looks beautiful with sequins, a cream highlighter, a nude colored eye shadow with a little bit of iridescence to compliment the sequins, a brown eye shadow with a little bit of a red undertone to it. Then we're going to use some black eyeliner for a little drama, some black mascara to complete the eye makeup, a peach tone blush and a nude lip gloss. So let me show you how. We'll begin by applying the bronzer. We're going to accent the high points of our face where the sun would naturally kiss it. You can also use the bronzer to accent some contours of the cheekbones. Just remember to take the color down to the neck and collarbone so everything matches. Now take your highlighter and on your cheekbones, highlight above where you put the bronzer for the contour. You also want to hit the inside corners of the eyes and under the brow bone. Creating shadow and light on the face will give your makeup more dimension. Next, use your fluffy brush with long loose bristles and apply your nude colored eye shadow with slight iridescence to your entire eye area from eyelashes to eyebrows. With the smaller brush with shorter and looser bristles, take your brown eye shadow and lightly begin layering all over your eyelid. You want to stop in the crease and stay below the brow bone. Take your first brush and go back to blend the crease where your brown eye shadow stops to make sure it's nice and soft. With a smudge brush, dip into the brown eye shadow and line the bottom lashes. You want to make this really smoky. Be sure to connect the outside corners of the eyes with the eye shadow you applied on the lid. For a more sultry finish, line the insides of the eyes with black eyeliner. All you need now is mascara. Apply a few layers and your eyes are complete. With your peach blush, very lightly brush the apples of your cheeks. We only want a slight pop of color but it should stay subtle. Last but not least, apply your nude colored lip gloss and you're ready to go and that is what makeup to wear with a sequined dress. Thank you for watching.
