Hi my name is Marcella and I'm a makeup artist with Unbridled Beauty. I'm here to show you how to wear makeup with a lime green dress. You want to use colors that will enhance it and not match it exactly. So here are some materials that you will need. First an ivory color eye shadow for a base all over the eye, a purple eye shadow, just make sure it's not too deep a purple, but kind of a medium light tone. Then we want some burgundy for the contour, mascara for definition as always and a Cabernet lip liner. Let's get started, very lightly sweep the blush across the apples of the cheeks and cheekbones. Then begin by applying the base ivory color all over the eye from your lashes to your eyebrows. You can us a flat brush with longer bristles to pat on the color evenly and get good coverage. The flatter the brush the more pigment it will pick up and the more color it will deposit on your eye. Once you have an even application, take your light purple and apply it to your lid with a softer rounder brush with shorter bristles. Apply this color lightly to your lid. Switch brushes to a smudge brush where the bristles are very short and round to help lay a defining although light liner effect to define the eyes. Going back to the previous brush, lightly dab on your burgundy eye shadow. Tap off the excess and apply to the contour of the eye. This is the crease between our eyeball and the bone. By applying color here we're adding definition and depth to the eye. Make sure the eyes are even and the colors are blended well. There should be no harsh lines and the colors should run seamlessly together. The last step with the eyes is to take your mascara and apply generously to the top lashes. Mascara is always an important step in creating that last bit of definition to the eyes so they stand out. Our last step will add a little more emphasis on the lips. Take our Cabernet lip liner and with light feathery strokes, follow the shape of your lip. Be sure to fill the inside as well. Add a bit of gloss if you prefer for some shine and you're done.
