Hi my name is Marcella and I'm a makeup artist with Unbridal Beauty and I'm here to show you some makeup tips when you wear a pink dress. Pink is a very beautiful and feminine color that suits everyone. So let me show you the best colors to bring it out. Let's get started. First you're going to need an ivory eye shadow with a little bit of iridescence, a navy eye shadow to create a nice contrast, an electric blue eye shadow to help with the contouring, some black mascara to bring out the eyes and make them pop, and last but not least, a little bit of pink gloss. Let me show you those tips. Begin by applying your base ivory color all over your eye from your eye lashes to your eyebrows. Use a brush with long, loose bristles to allow the color to go on lightly. Next, I'm going to apply the navy blue eye shadow as a thick liner that I'm going to blend and smoke out. Deeper blues are wonderful to enhance light pink. It's all about using colors that complement each other without having to match them exactly. Because I'm using such a dark and light color together, I want to make sure I'm blending them well so I'm going to go back using my first brush and I'll make small circles where they meet. Now I want to take some of the electric blue with a smaller brush with shorter bristles. And I'll apply a pop of color on the outside corner of the eye. Remember to blend. With a smudge brush, take some of this color and line the bottom lashes. Make sure you connect this liner with the eye shadow on the lid so that there are no gaps in color in the corner of the eye. To complete the eyes and make them stand out, apply a generous coat of mascara to top and bottom lashes. By using a gloss that is also pink, I'm not only matching the dress, but I'm tying together the whole look. It also offers a soft finish. And those are some makeup tips when you wear a pink dress.
