About the Expert
Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I'm a makeup artist. Today, I'm going to share with you a few makeup tips for medium skin tones. Nice and subtle, but classy, let's get started. Here are our tools, the first, an eyeshadow quad in bronzy shades. And we must have our eyeshadow blending brush. Our first step, bringing a feature color on our lid. I want that to be, what pops. So, me using the gold, right on the lid. When you have medium skin tone, to best feature that. You don't want to go too light, or too dark. There's mid-tone browns, there's mid-tone golds, we're going to be great. We're just going to kind of, blend up, almost to the, to the highlight, not quite. Because being deeper in tone, we can use a deeper shade in our highlights. So, we're going to feature that, with this gold. Again, we're going to pack it on the lid, initially. So, you see how this really plays off our skin tone, really, really well. And again, take it almost to the top. And you could actually go all the way, if you'd like. I want to leave it a little bare, somewhat my natural skin is shown through. So, I can play with this gold and with this shimmer, versus, it being up against my natural skin tone, without the shimmer. Next, we're going to take our deep brown shade, and we're going to use this in our crease. But I want to pack on the color, pretty heavy. You'll have to be super meticulous about it. And I'm going to take it down to the lid, keep packing. Now, ever so slightly, I'm going to take my round, circles. And really buff up the edge, without taking away the saturation of the color. So, the benefit is, I'm getting to use a little bit of my natural skin tone, against the shades of gold and brown. And still get that nice, dynamic finish. Now, let's even that out. Starting with the crease, I want to pack on that color, pretty intense. Because being a medium skin tone, you can afford to put a little bit more color on. And it's still going to look natural and pretty and showcase your natural eye shape, your natural skin tone. Ever so slightly, you see, I'm playing that just a little bit. And it's kind of, three fourths of the way in, make sure there's a balance. Exit one and two. Makeup tips for medium skin tones don't have to be difficult, just keep it subtle and classy. That's why our essential item today, is our eyeshadow quad, featuring those bronzy shades. Combined, that will probably cost between fifteen to forty five dollars. And that's it, those are my makeup tips for medium skin tones, thank you for watching.
