Hi my name is Marcella and I'm a makeup artist with Unbridled Beauty. I'm here today to show you some makeup ideas for blue dresses. Blue can range in color and can take you anywhere from playful to formal from Summer to Winter but the look that I'm going to show you today is going to work best with medium to deep tones. So let's get started. Here are some things that you'll need: a pink blush, a cream highlighter, a honey gold eye shadow and just make sure that there's not too much yellow in the gold, a sable eye shadow and this one has a little bit of iridescence to avoid it being too dull, a black eyeliner, mascara of course and last but not least a pink gloss. So let's get started. Smile and sweep the blush across the apples of the cheeks in a backwards C motion. Take your cream highlighter and touch upon the inside of your eyes and under the eyebrows. This is going to bring some light and luminescence. Next apply a honey gold eye shadow all over your lid and be sure to stay below the crease. You can use a brush with shorter rounder bristles to apply a nice even coat. Take the sable and with a fluffier brush, apply it in the crease of the eye and outside corners of the eyes to create contouring. With a smudge brush, dip it into the sable and line the bottom lashes making sure you connect the outside corners of the eyes with the eye shadow you previously applied. One that's done let's give the eyes a little extra kick and line the inside rim for a little ore glamor. Finally it's mascara time. No makeup is complete without some mascara. Apply a nice generous coat or two to make sure that they really stand out. Last but not least, use a light pink nude lipstick that will tie everything together. Remember, pinks and blues are great compliments and work very well together. If one color is very vibrant, in this case my shirt, I want a softer pink to create balance. And there you have it. And those are some makeup ideas for blue dresses. Thank you for watching.
