About the Expert
Hi, my name is Yessica Andrea, and I'm a professional makeup artist. And today, I'm going to show you how to make your skin look smoother. First thing you want to do is you want to start off with a clean face. Get a nice little tissue towel and some moisturizer. Go ahead and clean the area of the skin that you are going to do. You can choose to do the whole entire face or just one section. You want to make sure that you clean the area of the skin before you exfoliate. Some people might want to just do a section of a face if they only have dryness. It can be in the T zone, around the chin, or the cheeks. I'm just going to do one side of my face so that you guys can see. Okay, once your skin is nice and clean you then want to choose a nice exfoliant. I have a very nice soft honey exfoliant. And gently apply to your face in a clockward motion for about one or two minutes. This one's sensitive for skin so it's really good for every skin type. There's some that are a little bit more rougher then others. I'm going to use some water in my spray bottle and gently remove all the dead skin cells, any dryness. Even some leftover makeup. And of course the last thing you want to do, the skin is nice and smooth, go ahead and cover that with your favorite foundation. Some of the foundations you can put a little bit of moisturizing for hydration. Or you could just skip this step and hydrate your skin with some moisturizer. Follow that with a nice powder. Pull out your favorite powder brush some of your foundation powder and go ahead and cover any visible acne blemishes that you might have on your skin. When you exfoliate your skin it makes your makeup go on a lot more smoother, glides on easier, and it looks a lot, lot better. Okay. And that is how you make your skin look smoother. I'm Yessica Andrea, and thank you for watching.
