Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hairstylist and salon owner. And today, I'm going to show you how to do a soft, feminine, sexy look for an evening out. So, our model, Brittany has, you can see a little bit of texture to her hair. She has a lot of hair, it's thick and it just needs some dressing up to look good. The tools you're going to need for this are, a large tooth comb, a vented brush, some clips, a three quarter inch curling iron. And a strong hold hairspray. We're going to induce the Garnier Fructis Full Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray. Okay, so, I'm just going to spray a little bit into the hair, working it through to the ends. This is going to give us a lot of control, when using the curling iron. And it's important to have a strong hold, when you're doing curling work like this. Because you actually, you want your hairstyle to last all night. So, a strong hold hairspray will give a curl durability for an evening look. I'm just going to section out th side of her hair, and pull the top over. I'm going to start on the side, doing vertical sections, taking each section that's about two inches wide. Pulling the hair straight up from the head, rolling the roots first and then, bringing the rest of it in. You're going to get a much tighter curl doing it this way. I'm just taking the iron and getting as close to the roots as I can as possible. The roots are the parts that you want to focus on, allows the hair to fall a little bit more loosely towards the end. And I'm just going to work my way around this side of the head, and actually all the way around the back, until the center point. And then, go back and start again on the other side, working away from the face, vertical sections. Okay, so, you can see, we've just continued on with all the vertical sections, curling the entire head away from the face. Same on this side, away from the face. And then, once this base curl is set, I want to go back in again with my curling iron. And start taking sections and just giving them a final polish. So, I'm going to take a little section on top, I'm going to lift it off the base. And then, with the curling iron, wrap it around the barrel, kind of like a barber pole, not too tight. And again, leaving the ends out. As you can see, I'm sort of angling the iron out and away from the head. That's going to give it a lot of body. Okay, so, you can see, we've finished the set, you can see the individual curls, everything i set and ready to go, but it's not quite finished. So, what I want to do now, is using your hands and little bit of product, just break up all this hair. I'm actually going to brush through it a bit as well. And start with a little bit more hairspray, spray it on your hand. And break it down a little bit and then, just start breaking your hands through the hair and breaking up all those curls. Reason why I do that,is I don't want to get a huge spot of wet hairspray, or wet product on one section. I just want to use a little bit of it to finish piecing out the hair. And then, I'm going to go in with the vented brush and just start brushing through. You might be afraid through the hair would pull the curl out. If the curl is set in there correctly, it'll stay, and this just blends the whole look together. Otherwise, you have a look that's not quite finished. And then, I actually want to do a little bit of back combing across the top and on the sides. I'm just going to take a fairly large section and over direct, press through and then, just give it a little bit of teasing at the roots. And then, I'll just continue through the rest of the head, like that. Okay, so, now, I have brushed out all the curls. And just gone in with my vent brush, and just lightly back combed a little bit to bring out the curl, a little bit more. And then, I sprayed a little bit more on my hands, brush through to separate. and there you go, she's ready for a night on the town. O.k., and that's how you do sexy, soft, feminine waves for an evening look. My name's Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
