Hi, I'm Jeremy Clark, professional hair stylist and salon owner, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to make your hairstyle last all day. So one tip for keeping your hairstyle looking good all day long is when you prep the hair we're prepping it with some product, gives it a little bit of grip and control, and gives the curl memory. So we curled her whole head today using some product and that will help set it from the inside. We also want to protect it from the outside, so once the hair is set, once it's styled, I want to go back in with some hairspray and just lock that style in. Today, I'm going to use the Garnier Fructis full control anti-humidity hairspray. This spray is great for getting rid of frizz and keeping frizz away and it also helps lock the style in, helps keep the style looking good, keeps the curls curled and the texture in the hair. Just going to hold the can about six to 12 inches away and lightly spray. You don't want to just spray it all in one shot and coat the hair. You just want to get light little sprays all throughout. So a lot of people think that to make a style last, you have to really just spray everything down, just lock it down with a whole coat of lacquer and that's not true. Just a few light bursts on the outside of the hair will help protect it from frizz, protect it from humidity, and help it last. Couple final tips. Once your hair has been set and sprayed, you might want to spray a little bit of shampoo just at the roots, and that will help protect against any humidity, it will keep your hair from getting greasy around the profile, and also sometimes people will use a pomade or a wax of some sort just to kind of push down the flyaways and it's important to check that your product doesn't have water in it. So any product that has water is actually going to make your hair revert. It's going to curl back up. So it's almost better to use a hairspray. Spray a little on your fingers, and you can just get those flyaways down like that. There you go. That's how to make your hairstyle last all day. I'm Jeremy Clark, thanks for watching.
