Hi, I'm Alysse Lemke, and I'm a professional hairstylist, and today I'm going to share with you ways to make dull hair shiny. The only thing you're going to need is a serum treatment oil. It's oil based so you definitely don't need very much at all, just a tiny tiny bit and we're going to apply this to dry hair. So, you've styled your hair and it's just not looking shiny enough, this is a good way to seal down the cuticle, protect the ends from the environment and make your hair shiny. I like to disperse it all over my hands, it's just a little thin film and then I'm going to start applying to the ends of my hair being careful not to go too close to the root or else you can add too much and make your hair look greasy. I'm just going to pull it through. The serum is a good way to make your hair shiny because it seals down the cuticle and keeps moisture in your hair. It will also protect it from the sun and help prevent your color from fading. When using a serum or treatment oil to style dull hair, it will help make your hair shiny but has added benefits of sun protection, a frizz free look and sleek control. Thanks for watching. My name is Alysse Lemke.
