Hi, my name is Hilda Levierge and I'm a professional makeup artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to do a Selena Gomez look. So, Selena Gomez is known for really beautiful dark smoky cat eyes and really nice rosy cheeks and a glossy lip. She always looks beautiful and we are gong to recreate that on Brandy. First I'm going to start with the eyes. I'm going to use Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision liquid eyeliner in blackest black. What I love about this product is this little applicator. It's just a felt tip applicator and it's got a nice point on the end so it's going to give a really nice precise line and it's going to allow me to get really close into her lash line. So just close your eyes. So with the Selena Gomez look, she really has a play on the classic 1960s cat eye but she's really got an elongated cat eye so instead of really defining the crease like they did in the 60s she keeps it all just above the lash line and really emphasizes darkness around the eyes. So I'm going to use this liner to get a really, really dark, dark, dark black line just above Brandy's lashes. I'm also going to take this and go right into her lash line and I'm just going to kind of dot it in there just to give me a base to work off of because then I'm going to go in with some gel eyeliner and some dark black shadow and I'm just going to build onto what I've already done. But this just creates a really nice base for me to start with. I'm actually going to take a tissue, this is a good trick when you're working with a really dark shadow and you don't want it to flake down under your eye and create a mess you can just put your tissue up there and that's going to catch any little flakes that might drop down. Now there is my line that I've used with the liquid liner and I'm just going to press the shadow just above it. Now the brush is just getting on her lashes a little bit because I'm getting so close to the lash line because that's the thing with this look is the shadow and the liner is all really close down to the lash lines. She doesn't really bring anything up into the crease or the middle of the eye it's all really really close to the lashes. So I'm basically tracing over a cat line but with black shadow. So I'm going to get really kind of thinner in here near the tear duct and then it's going to gradually get a little bit thicker and then I'm going to stop right at that cat line that I made, so about a quarter inch after your last eyelash. So now just look up with your eyes and I'm going to take the tissue and just place it right under the lashes there to catch any flakes and I'm going to trace that liquid liner with a smaller eyeliner brush and just trace the black shadow in again. And I'm going to actually meet it right at the outer corner and just kind of wing it out following the line of the liquid liner that we made. It's nice to have the tissue there also because that gives you another line to kind of trace. So the third step that you want to do is take an angled eyeliner brush and dip it in a gel eyeliner or you can use a soft eyeliner pencil and just go right into your lower waterline with the gel all the way along that line and create a really dark line and then you can go back in there and trace what you've already done with the liquid liner and just trace an even thicker line on top of that, so just follow that line so it's all the way along and then up and then I'm just going to put a little bit in the corner there as well and then to finish, I like to add a little bit of lightness into the tear duct so this is a nice silvery gray and I'm just going to pop that right into the tear duct and that's just going to attract the light and make her eyes sparkle. And then you could even throw in a couple of false eyelashes just individuals on the corner and some mascara. So I've completed the other eye and then I added some really nice creme pink blush because Selena Gomez always has those really rosy cheeks. So you just put a little bit more blush than you would think just on the apples of your cheeks and then come up when you smile like that and then I threw on some nice sheer pinky lip gloss as well. So this is a really simple easy look to do but it gives you a lot of drama and a lot of glamor for a night out. So that's how you do makeup like Selena Gomez. I'm Hilda Levierge. Thanks for watching.
