Hi, I'm Rose Tran, and I'm a fashion stylist. Ladies have at least one little black dress in their wardrobe. Making sure that you have the right dress for your body type is the challenge. For apple-shaped women,understanding your body's characteristics is crucial. If you fall under this category, then you may have full breasts, slim arms, and tend to be full at the midsection. Therefore, your upper half is bigger than your bottom half. You're going to want to accentuate the curves on top, and create the illusion of having curves on your bottom half. To do so, I've dressed Kathleen in a poofy tube dress. It compliments her in all the right ways. The sleeveless tube dress shows off her lean arms and her full upper body, while the poofiness gives balance to her bottom half. To finish it off, I've added a belt to the waist area, creating a slimmer midsection. Add a bold necklace to draw attention to your outfit, and you'll be ready for an evening out.
