Hi, this is Kristie Kennedy, professional makeup artist. Today, we'll be discussing how to do Indie makeup on dark skin. Indie makeup is characterized by dark colors, burgundies, wines. So today we'll look at how to create this look on dark skin. The tools you'll need: plum eye shadow, burgundy lipstick, a lip gloss to seal, a lip liner and one eye shadow brush. Let's begin. Our first step is to apply our plum color on the inside of the eyelid and working our way around, take nice short patting motions just to create depth. On the outside, I already have a lighter color on the inside to open up the eyes. It's really pretty and do the same for the other eye, working my way mid way at the lid through the rim and working my way around almost like a little circle there, halfway up to the crease, patting motions and blend in. That is our first step. Our second step is to line our lip with a brown liner, starting from the outer corner to the other side, from the middle to the outside, from the middle to the outside. And that is our second step. Our next step in creating this fabulous lip is to apply our burgundy lip color. It's very rich. This is a power color. And that is part two of our lip. Our last step in creating this fabulous lip is to add lip gloss over it to create a sheen and that is our final step. And that is how you do Indie makeup for dark skin. Remember your take home product, a beautiful burgundy lipstick. This is Kristie Kennedy. Thank you for watching.
